Professional Experience
Edge Technology Group, Akamai, USA
Sr Software Engineer
2020 - Present
As a Lead Software Engineer, contributed to the design and development of essential monitoring and reporting services for the CDN infrastructure consisting of over 400K+ nodes handling 30% global internet traffic. One of my key achievements was implementing a write-back cache, which greatly improved resource monitoring. Through this cache, the ingestion rate of reports increased by 30% and the number of dropped reports reduced by 99%. This improvement had a direct impact on resource monitoring and server utilization, enhancing them by 30%. Additionally, I conducted experiments aimed at improving the scalability and performance of the system.

eFresh Global is an agricultural enterprise equipped with knowledge-based and digital services to help Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and Agri-entrepreneurs scale up the value chain.
Vacation Rentals & Experiences, Tripadvisor, USA
Sr Software Engineer
2018 - 2020
Lead Software Engineer on the CRM team. My responsibilities included design and development of microservices. These microservices were used to fetch dynamic data such as recommendations, static metadata associated with users, and reporting. One of my notable achievements was generating multimillion dollars in revenue through the creation of highly scalable international marketing email campaigns. These campaigns were designed to be localized and triggered based on the user's position in the sales funnel or travel journey. By leveraging targeted emails, we were able to drive successful conversions and maximize revenue opportunities.
Core Technology Division (CTD), Dell EMC, USA
Principal Software Engineer
2016 - 2018
Led team of 3 engineers. Drove improvements for serviceability & triage of Dell EMC's midrange storage devices; Designed & developed microservices based serviceability infrastructure for storage arrays. Reduced average triage time from 6 hours to 1 hour.
DataGravity, USA

2015 - 2016
Built policy driven asynchronous bi-directional replication between two DataGravity storage arrays to improve data availability, recovery, and reliability.
Dell EMC, USA
Principal Software Engineer
2009 - 2015
As a lead engineer for Dell EMC storage devices, I played a crucial role in designing and developing various software components. One of my key contributions was co-designing and developing a virtual page driver and write-back block cache driver for an object-based file system.
I also led efforts to deliver required performance numbers based on business needs. This involved conducting workload modeling, performance studies, optimization, and analysis to provide valuable recommendations for enhancing device performance. Additionally, I co-led an innovative procedure by prototyping delta compression algorithms, utilizing similarity search techniques such as min-hash and locality-sensitive hashing (patented)
Furthermore, I contributed to reducing device integration costs and improving the end-user experience by designing and developing Atmos GeoDrive, an exclusive equivalent of Dropbox for EMC Atmos Object Storage devices. This solution helped streamline device integration processes and enhance user accessibility to the storage system.
Lastly, I collaborated with cross-functional teams on the design, development, and integration of the next-generation Centera, an object storage solution, with EMC's unified storage architecture/platform. This collaboration aimed to enhance device integration efficiency and improve the end-user experience.
